Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce that Axcest - our community web portal, has officially crossed the 50,000 users milestone. The Axcest team would like to take this opportunity to extend a VERY BIG "thank you!" to all our members for your support and suggestions over the years towards making our community website better.

In line with this achievement, we are excited to launch 2 brand new features for our members:

(1)	Distance-based Search Function - Axcest will be amongst the first in Asia social networks to provide a distance-based search function for all members. This allows a user to search for other members within a certain distance from his profile location. Thus, with this function, it will now be possible to "search" for the PLU buddies near you to meet up for coffee, movies or a friendly chat.
	To enjoy this function, members would only need to fill in the information for the "Postal/Zip Code" field and also the newly-created "Street/Road Name" field under the "Basics" section of their profiles. Please be assured that other members WILL NOT be able to see this information as it is kept strictly confidential and will only be used by the system to perform the search function internally.
(2)	Locker Function - The locker function will allow members to upload and display up to 10 private photos which will be password-protected. To view the photos in the "locker", others would need to request a "key" from the member. The member can choose whom he wants to give his "key" to and also limit the access period by cancelling the "key" any time subsequently.

In view that both the new functions are in the testing phase, we would appreciate your patience and help in informing us of any technical problems encountered during this trial period.
